Privacy policy
Short version: we collect only what's needed to sell you a license and keep it working. No ads, no trackers, no selling data.

What we collect
- Purchase records. When you buy, Stripe handles your payment details; we never see or store your card number. Stripe sends us your email address, a customer ID, the amount and what you bought.
- Your license key if you buy Premium.
- License checks. The app sends your license key to pointerstick.com to validate it and fetch whether Premium is unlocked. Like any web server, ours sees your IP address for those requests; we don't build profiles from it.
- On this website, your browser's local storage remembers your cart, your license key (so you don't have to retype it), and your demo pointer settings. That data stays in your browser.
What we don't do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We don't sell or rent your data.
- The app doesn't watch your keystrokes or send anything you do to us. It reads the mouse position and buttons to draw the pointer while it's on. Screenshots and recordings happen only when you start them, and they stay on your PC; we never upload them.
Processors
Payments are processed by Stripe. The website is hosted on Railway. License keys, the email you bought with, and the name of each PC you activate (up to 3, plus a random ID the app makes for that PC; never a hardware identifier) are stored on Cloudflare, which also sends key emails and forwards mail sent to our @pointerstick.com addresses.
Your choices
Email support@pointerstick.com to get a copy of your data or have it deleted. Deleting your data also deactivates your license key, so we'll confirm before doing it. We keep payment records as long as tax law requires.
